Say No To Racism – Home
It all started in 2014 in Ústí nad Labem. Our initiative was a follow-up to the global FIFA project – Say no to racism and UEFA – respect. The first team to support this idea was FK Junior Děčín, after the photo with the campaign banner was posted, a chain reaction started with offers to take photos of teams from Ústí nad Labem and the surrounding area. Over time, the scope grew and more than 300 teams of football, futsal, beach soccer, girls’ football took part in the campaign, from the lowest competitions to the highest ones. Approximately 4,000 players, coaches and officials from all over the Czech Republic and abroad appeared in the campaign.
The project continues to seek to expand to other regions to become another powerful tool to make it clear that racism has no place in sport. The main promoter of this campaign is the Mongaguá team, whose activities are loosely linked to the idea of Say no to racism.
For us, sport is a communication tool, which we use to break down social barriers and connect different social classes. The Say no to racism campaign and the activities of Team Mongaguá promote the core values of football and sport in general.
Our core values are mutual respect, regardless of race, religion and sexual orientation, taking care of your own health, taking care of your surroundings, promoting diversity and social inclusion. Thanks to the activities of both projects, we also succeed in drawing attention to dangerous pathological phenomena in socially excluded localities and make a significant contribution to health and social cohesion not only in these localities.

Mongaguá is a football and futsal club founded by Lukáš Pulko in Krásný Březno, a long-troubled locality in Ústí nad Labem, which is infamous, for example, for the now historical case around the Matiční Wall.
