Social responsibility
that happens right on the street.

Mongaguá connects companies with communities where their social responsibility can create concrete, long-term impact.

01The problem

Children who are talked
about from the outside

In socially excluded neighbourhoods children grow up with a smaller chance of finishing school, finding work and avoiding risky behaviour. Not because they want it less. Because they have fewer options around them and fewer adults who stay.

There are plenty of programmes trying to address it. Most of them come from the outside, for a fixed period and with a predetermined output.

Mongaguá started on the inside. And stayed there.

02Why Mongaguá for CSR

Five reasons
why it makes sense

01

Grassroots impact

We are right inside the communities the problem concerns. Not above them.

02

Concrete impact

The name of the town, the name of the coach, the number of children. Not general phrases about helping.

03

Local relevance

A partnership can be tied to a town where the company actually operates.

04

Employee engagement

Employees can get involved in person, not just by signing a donation agreement.

05

Long-term work

Ten years in the field. This is not a one-off event but a stable environment.

03Partnership models

Six ways
to come in

We do not have gold, silver and bronze. We do not sort partnerships by the size of the contribution but by the way of getting involved. Most partners combine more than one.

01

Strategic partnership

Long-term cooperation on developing the whole Mongaguá network. The partner takes part in planning, not just funding.

  • A multi-year commitment
  • A say in where the network goes
  • An annual impact report

02

Local partnership

The company supports a specific town or community it has a link to — a site, a branch, employees.

  • One specific location
  • Direct contact with the coach
  • Visible local impact

03

Project partnership

A jointly created sporting, educational or community project built on what the company is good at.

  • A tailored project
  • Joint communication
  • A defined goal and output

04

Employee engagement

Involving employees in mentoring, workshops, sports days or professional help.

  • Corporate volunteering
  • A sports day with the children
  • Mentoring for older players

05

Skills-based partnership

The company provides know-how instead of money. IT, marketing, finance, HR, law, education, technology.

  • Professional help
  • No budget needed
  • High value for both sides

06

In-kind partnership

Equipment, transport, technology, sports gear, premises or services.

  • Material support
  • Jerseys, balls, goals
  • Transport to tournaments

04What the partner gets

We do not sell
a logo on a website

The partner of course gets a logo on the website. But that is the smallest part of it.

Once we have systematically collected data, we will prepare a Partner impact report once a year — a concrete overview of what happened in the joint activities.

Mongaguá does not provide ESG certification and does not ensure ESG compliance. A partnership is cooperation with real impact, not a regulatory tool.

  • a share in real local impact, not in a PR activity
  • transparent information about what happened with the joint money
  • materials and results usable for your own CSR communication
  • authentic content from the field — photographs, stories, videos
  • a way to involve employees that actually makes sense
  • the option to create new projects together, not just support existing ones
  • a long-term relationship with a specific community
  • the option to communicate the partnership publicly if that is appropriate
