03 / Impact
What changes
because of it.
We do not just say what we do. Here are eight areas where Mongaguá is visible — and the system we want to start measuring it with.
01Areas of impact
Eight things that
happen at once
01
Education
If you want to play, you go to school. Training is the lever that lets us work on attendance and results.
02
Prevention of risky behaviour
An afternoon on the pitch is an afternoon the child does not spend elsewhere. Banal, and yet it is the heart of the matter.
03
A healthy lifestyle
Regular exercise, a routine, sleep, food before a match. Things that cannot be taken for granted.
04
Community
Parents meet at the edge of the pitch. A neighbourhood grows where there used to be only an address.
05
Responsibility
Turn up on time, bring your kit, wait for the younger one. Small commitments that add up.
06
Sporting development
Transfers into organised clubs and competitions. A concrete step with a measurable result.
07
Social inclusion
A tournament outside their own neighbourhood is, for many children, the first contact with a world that is not hostile.
08
Positive role models
A coach who stayed in the neighbourhood. An older player who made it. An adult who did not disappear.
02A story
Daniel Hajaš
He started on the pitch in Krásné Březno as one of many. Through the cooperation with FC Rapid Ústí nad Labem he moved into the youth teams of a club playing in the top futsal competitions.
At seventeen he was in the “A” squad and in the under-19 futsal national team.
This is the route. Not a miracle, but a gradual, traceable sequence of steps that can be repeated.
03How we measure impact
Numbers we want
to be able to prove
For ten years Mongaguá worked the way grassroots projects work — through people, not spreadsheets. The basic numbers are on record, though: 4,875 hours worked with children since 2015, 400+ children involved, 24 coaches and 30+ volunteers.
What we do not track systematically yet is the impact on the children’s side — school attendance, transfers into clubs, where they are five years later. That is what we are setting up now, so that in a year we can say what changed and prove it. For partners it turns into a Partner impact report once a year.
Metrics marked “tracked” are documented, “being set up” are only starting.
