We are the founding team of the Mongaguá network. Through sport we create an environment in Krásné Březno where children get a team, regular exercise, positive role models and room to grow.

The team started in 2015 on a concrete yard between blocks of flats in Krásné Březno, a long-troubled neighbourhood of Ústí nad Labem. It began with a bag of jerseys from Brazilian Mongaguá that Lukáš Pulko handed out to children playing outside with no organisation at all.
Thanks to the team’s initiative the yard became a pitch with proper facilities. Sixty children come here today, and for them football is the way in — a community of children, coaches and parents is growing around it that works off the pitch too.
Ústí remains the most active team in the network and the place where things are tried out before they spread to other locations.

06A moment from the team
More than a single match.
Daniel Hajaš started on the pitch in Krásné Březno as one of many. Through the cooperation with the top-tier FC Rapid Ústí nad Labem he moved into the club’s youth teams and at seventeen he was in the “A” squad and in the under-19 futsal national team.
We only publish children’s stories with the family’s consent.
